With most of our Spring Swiftwater Rescue and Guide School Courses successfully completed we are now looking towards our Summer courses. There are still places free on SRT and WRT courses in August and September so feel free to have a look in our course calendar.

With optimal water levels and brilliant sunny weather the first ever International Guide Race took place on the slalom section of the Salza river in Wildalpen testing all competitors in Swiftwater Rescue skills.
There were 3 different events to compete in; the first was the individual race, then the two man team head to head inline-raft cross and lastly the team competition.

New Improved Course Manual |
Rescue 3 International have been working for a while on a new improved manual for all their Swiftwater rescue courses. This has now been finished so all students will be given a hot off the press up to date European manual, totally over hauled with new illustrations through out.

Kayakers have been asking us to split the WRT course for Normal and advanced boaters. So now for normal everyday boaters we have the WRT Basic course and for grade 4 and 5 boaters we have the WRT extreme course.
The WRT extreme course not only requires Grade 4/5 boating skills but does assume a certain level of knowledge and all students must be compliant in basic rescue skills.
